Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to inspecting, cleaning, repairing, troubleshooting, moving, disassembling, reassembling, and preparing gaming, amusement, and ATM equipment for field deployment or decommissioning in accordance with Accel Entertainment and Illinois Gaming Board specifications.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure quality and integrity of all incoming and outgoing equipment
- Moves video gaming terminals (slot machines), Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, Amusement Equipment, and associated equipment between transport trucks, warehouse storage, and equipment preparation areas
- Able to obtain forklift certification and use non-powered dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Disassembles obsolete or damaged equipment, then tests and cleans removed parts
- Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, cleans, and perform repairs on electronic gaming devices, Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, Amusement Equipment, machine parts, and associated equipment
- Installs and remove locks on video gaming terminals, Ticket Redemption Machines, Automatic Teller Machines, and Amusement Devices
- Identify and troubleshoot all malfunctions to perform necessary repairs of electronic devices and equipment
- Identify and communicate inventory needs for equipment to ensure minimal downtime and quick turnaround of product
- Observe all safety regulations and report unsafe conditions to management
- Follow all department, company, and state policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 2 years of electronic technical training preferred
- 2 years of slot technician/video gaming terminal, ATM, or amusement equipment experience, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment preferred
- Must demonstrate an ability to understand basic electronic theory and mechanics
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and instruments
- Able to operate forklifts and non-powered dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Adequate physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job
- Able to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming Board
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including use of a keyboard
- Frequently required to lift/push weights up to 1100 pounds
- Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
- Exposure to hot and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts
- Noisy environment
Pay and Benefits
Base Pay Range: $21-$24 per hour
