Warehouse Technician - Box Builder

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect/accept responsibility for all containers prepared prior to performing additional container preparation
• Inspect OTD containers for structural integrity and to process satisfactory containers only
• Check doors and latches on boxes and reject problem boxes
• Install inner liners in such a manner that allows the robot to package the container without pulling the liner inside the container
• Must control housekeeping in and around the designated Box Preparation area
• Must understand daily production sheet and meet the needs of the upcoming shift
• Communicate material needs to forklift operator and Team Leader
• Must be able to distinguish between different box parts, including pallets, inner liners, ladders, and ladder positioning, outers, lids, and dust covers/poly liners for metal containers

Requirements

• A minimum of one (1) year continuous and current experience as a Warehouse Technician in a petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment
• The ability to work rotating shifts (days and nights)

• The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Able to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and other qualifications as required
