Warehouse Technician

About the role

FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, U.S.A., Inc., is a global leader in chemical solutions which enable the semiconductor industry and the digital universe. Our Warehouse Technicians are responsible for loading and unloading trucks, receiving freight using SAP warehouse management system, preparing outbound paperwork, operating a forklift, staging freight efficiently, and handling hazardous materials (HAZMAT) safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily outgoing customer orders, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and labeling.
• Ensures paperwork and packaging meets D.O.T Requirements.
• Processes requests and supply orders; pulling, packing , and staging materials and sales orders in appropriate area and ready for transport
• Inspects Freight Bills and Bills of Lading and placement of received materials in their proper storage locations
• Maintains safe and clean work environment, maintaining 5S standards by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Loading and unloading trailers, either individually or with assistance, with or without mechanical freight-handling equipment.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe manner to move inventory and stage freight as required.
• Support and participate in Environmental, Safety and Health and quality department programs and requirements.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED required
• One to five years of prior warehouse operations/dock operations experience required.
• Must have a valid state drivers’ license and clean driving record
• Good communication, teamwork, organization and planning skills
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., carry up to 50 lbs. and Push/Pull up to 100 lbs.
• Reliable and detail-oriented
• Basic math skills
• Experience operating forklifts safely.
• Knowledge and experience handling hazardous materials (HAZMAT) with proper safety practices preferred.
