Warehouse Technician 3rd Shift

About the role

The Warehouse Technician – 3rd Shift is a key player contributing to the continued success of Champion Petfoods, an industry leader in premium pet food. Based in Auburn, Kentucky, this role involves moving finished products safely and efficiently within the state-of-the-art production facility.

Responsibilities

• Receive packaged product/finished goods from the Production department, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards.
• Stock product in an efficient, orderly, and timely manner.
• Operate various types of forklifts (sit and stand), turret trucks, and electric pallet jacks (riders) in accordance with company policies and practices.
• Load and unload trucks from and to vendors/distributors.
• Perform order picking and refill processes to support outbound operations.
• Use hand-held scanners and enter correct information into the Warehouse Management System.
• Awareness and understanding of quality assurance standards.
• Support and represent Champion Petfoods in community-sponsored events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years’ forklift experience and/or equivalent warehouse experience.

Pay

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $18.00 - $26.00 per hour, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

This role operates on a 3rd shift schedule.
