Warehouse Teammate
About The Role
You will: - Be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material. - Stock and maintain the warehouse; and pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure. - Act with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. - Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle. - Identify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations. - Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier. - Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely. - Inform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels. - Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets. - Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety. - Remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris. - Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues. - Assist co-workers in servicing customers. - Perform all job functions in accordance with the company's Safety Standards.
Requirements
- 1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience
- Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred
- Be at least 18 years old
- Possess a proper and valid driver's license
- Have a driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver in accordance with Company policy

- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Be able to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Be able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment
- Be able to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center
- Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Pay
Pay for Warehouse Teammate is between $18 and $23 per hour at this location.
