Responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
  • Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
  • Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
  • Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) using appropriate leadership styles and methods.
  • Absorb and provide necessary information, technology, and tools to employees for their job performance.
  • Assist in promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
  • Deal with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
  • Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one (1) year of powered industrial truck experience.
  • At least one (1) year of previous experience as a Team Lead.
  • At least one (1) year of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) experience.
  • At least one (1) year of previous warehouse experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with an RF scanner.
  • One (1) year or more of previous experience as a Team Lead preferred.
  • One (1) year or more of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) experience preferred.
  • One (1) year or more of previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with an RF scanner required.

Qualifications

  • Valid forklift operator's license certified.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Possesses flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Proactive approach to responsibilities.
  • Maintains composure under pressure.

Skills

  • Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required.

Pay

$20.50 per hour.

Schedule

1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm.
