Warehouse Team Lead

Job Description: Warehouse Team Lead - 3rd Shift Location: Oakdale, CA We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Lead to oversee overnight warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities, supporting inventory accuracy, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team to ensure materials are received, stored, and delivered efficiently. Schedule 3rd Shift Initial schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:30 PM-7:00 AMAfter the first few weeks, the schedule may transition to Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, based on business needs. Benefits We offer a competitive benefits package, including: Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) Options Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and material handling.Ensure materials are available to support production while maintaining inventory accuracy.Promote and enforce workplace safety, GMPs, and food safety standards.Train, coach, and mentor warehouse team members.Monitor employee performance and provide accountability as needed.Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.Ensure proper product rotation using FEFO (First Expired, First Out) practices.Develop employee schedules to maintain shift coverage.Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support production goals.Monitor warehouse equipment and submit maintenance requests when necessary.Ensure effective shift handoffs and communication between teams.Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required.Bachelor's degree preferred, or 3-5 years of warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience with 3-5 years of leadership experience.Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and production support.Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience is a plus.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.Food manufacturing experience is a plus.Union environment experience is a plus.Must be flexible to work other shifts as needed.Must be available to support peak production periods, including extended schedules and overtime when required.
