Warehouse Team Lead

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full‑Time Warehouse Team Leader in Euclid, Ohio. The role involves leading warehouse operations, ensuring safety, and working with consumer goods using equipment such as electric pallet jack, computer, and RF scanner.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of operations.
• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize/distribute daily work duties to team members to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members toward improved KPIs using appropriate leadership styles.
• Assist with employee orientation, providing necessary information, technology, and tools.
• Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
