Warehouse Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Follow shipment procedures and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Ensure all Forklift Operators are trained in procedures and follow them.
• Delegate and coordinate work responsibilities among Forklift Operators.
• Provide proper training for new hires.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory locations and warehouse policies.
• Oversee dock and forklift/clamp truck operations.
• Enforce safety protocols and warehouse golden rules.
• Communicate effectively with other Warehouse Team Leads to ensure department efficiency.
• Prepare finished products for shipment, checking for damages and count accuracy.
• Print Bills of Lading.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards in all warehouse areas.
• Ensure staffing availability and escalate to the warehouse supervisor as needed.
• Adhere to performance metrics including safety observations, warehouse inspections, and shipment accuracy.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Forklift Operator preferred.
• Certified Forklift Operator.
• Computer skills.
