About the Role

As a Warehouse PM Support Associate, the primary function of this position is to safely and efficiently wrap repaired furniture. You will also repair bedding, move furniture in and out of the department, return merchandise to its proper station, spray product, and process recyclable materials. A health evaluation and fit test is required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE, such as a respirator). Your contributions will ensure the success of the Operations Department at CITY HOME.

Pay Rate: $17.25/hr

Responsibilities

• Wrap different types of furniture in a safe and efficient manner for warehouse storage
• Scan and evaluate damages on damaged products to determine proper disposition
• Move products around the Distribution Center
• Process returned products off arriving trucks based on condition
• Spray lacquer finish onto case good products (requires PPE, including a respirator and spray mask)
• Evaluate damages on mattresses, box springs, and adjustable bases to determine proper disposition
• Process recyclable materials

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical ability test
• No high school diploma required
• Previous warehouse/distribution center experience preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Familiarity with WMS – High Jump, AS400, or Director is preferred but not required

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 5 days per week (8-hour shifts). 0% travel required.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 75+ lbs, bending, prolonged standing, and walking
• Use of safety equipment (Personal Protective Equipment: respirator and spray mask)
