Warehouse Supervisor - Night Shift
About the role
This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient workflows, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting safety initiatives, and fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, inventory management, picking, packing, shipping, and short-haul transportation
- Cook up tasks and staffing to ensure smooth, efficient workflows and on-time operations
- Train, mentor, and oversee warehouse team members, ensuring adherence to proper handling procedures, inventory practices, and safety standards
- Manage the establishment, maintenance, and accuracy of inventory records, ensuring proper tracking of all inbound and outbound goods
- Promote and enforce strong warehouse safety practices, continually enhancing personnel and property safety awareness
- Monitor and optimize warehouse layouts, space utilization, and processes for maximum efficiency
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and other tools to track, analyze, and report on warehouse performance
- Ensure all operations align with company safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics workflows
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety standards and best practices
