Warehouse Supervisor C Shift - W09

About the role

RJW Logistics Group is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assign work assignments for all 1st shift warehouse staffing, keeping in mind customer specifications, up to and including driver departure times to meet delivery schedules.
• Oversee the loading of inbound/outbound freight according to customer specifications.
• Supervise and communicate with Local, Regional, and OTR drivers, ensuring updates and workflow changes are communicated effectively.
• Review deliveries for poor packing and general conditions of materials, alerting relevant parties to any issues.
• Manage the processing of shipment paperwork, including scanning of BOL's, and ensure accuracy of shipments against paperwork.
• Maintain and update the Tee Card board and TMW system, and communicate with customers as needed.
• Ensure safety, training, and development of employees, drivers, and contractors, adhering to OSHA and RJW policies.
• Monitor and maintain equipment according to manufacturer's recommendations, and perform building checks daily.
• Ensure adherence to AIB processes, procedures, and guidelines, and handle accident reporting and emergency actions.
• Perform assigned tasks or other duties as instructed by the Warehouse Manager or COO.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years previous warehouse supervisory/managerial experience.
• Dispatch experience and dock supervision experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Smart Turn or TMW software a plus.
• Experience in Warehouse Management and LTL dispatch.
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations and Requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of H.S. diploma or GED equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient computer skills, including data entry.
