Warehouse Supervisor 3PL Shipping
About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead and inspire our 3PL warehouse team at our Exeter, PA distribution center. This leadership role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in operational excellence, and wants to grow their career in the automotive aftermarket industry. You’ll oversee daily workflows, enhance team productivity, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the 3PL team by hiring, onboarding, training, and performance coaching new and existing team members
- Promote a safety-first culture through proper training, oversight, and daily operational checks with strong understanding of DOT regulations, OSHA requirements, and shipping best practices
- Manage team schedules, assign work, and monitor performance to achieve daily KPIs
- Collaborate with fulfillment teams to plan and execute daily shipping strategies and meet operational goals
- Oversee daily 3PL shipping operations and support continuous improvement initiatives that ensure timely and cost-effective product shipments
- Solve shipping-related issues and resolve conflicts in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies and warehouse SOPs
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization through 5S methodology and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field OR 5+ years of combined warehouse and supervisory experience
- Flexible availability, including multiple shifts and occasional weekends
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse warehouse teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); ERP experience a plus
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and operate in non-climate-controlled conditions
- Comfortable with standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working at heights up to 30 feet
