Responsibilities

• Ensure production support with on-time and accurate deliveries of all production-related ingredients/packaging
• Demonstrate and maintain the use of an effective High Liner Operating System (HOS) while meeting customer requirements
• Effectively coach and train all direct reports
• Set expectations and maintain processes that meet performance targets
• Avoid inventory damage by establishing and monitoring shop floor processes that minimize damaged product, ensuring FIFO inventory rotation, and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Investigate and implement corrective actions for any inventory adjustment issues
• Ensure compliance with SQF and food security practices
• Maintain safe working conditions and practices by all employees
• Follow High Liner Foods' policies and procedures
• Support company strategic goals by directing the crew and implementing changes/improvements
• Ensure closure of work orders (w/o’s) and accurate transactions related to w/o’s on a nightly basis to minimize and ultimately eliminate re-counts the following day

Requirements

• Post-secondary education is a plus
• 3-5 years of warehouse coaching experience
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Familiarity with JD Edwards & or Enterprise 1, Microsoft Office Suite, & Reports Now
• Familiarity with an Advanced Warehouse Management System
• Ability to establish and meet productivity targets and report on results
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to shift hours and/or rotate shifts as operational needs require
