Warehouse Supervisor - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Leading or performing Plant or department projects affecting the entire facility.
• Directing and monitoring workflow; filling in as needed for other department personnel or where the workload indicates.
• Operating various department equipment, maintaining records, and helping to instruct department personnel as needed.
• Planning, organizing, and overseeing operational logistics of warehouse activities, including shipping/receiving/warehouse inventory management, health and safety.
• Managing warehouse personnel, providing work direction, training workers on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Preparing and submitting progress and other reports, coordinating activities with other supply-chain work units or departments.
• Communicating with and scheduling work with Deluxe Vendors; responding to customer service emails as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (HS/GED and 7 years, 1 year of management).
• Proficient knowledge of personal computers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Strong knowledge of processes and equipment, lean principles, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics preferred.
• Two years of experience in Manufacturing/Supply Chain and employee coaching preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $29.00 - $30.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience, and take into account internal equity.
