Warehouse Storeroom Attendant

Ryder is hiring an Inventory Management Attendant in Bartlett, TN — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. You will manage inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors, etc., using equipment including pallet jacks, computers, and RF scanners in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a clean driving record and able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check
• Must be comfortable using a computer (AT&T Data Entry)
• Experience with the use of forklifts and pallet jacks
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
• Ability to manage multiple store locations
• Good Customer Service Skills
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments
• Recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Work independently and as a member of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in
