Warehouse Storeroom Attendant

About the role

Ryder is hiring a Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Hiram, Georgia. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career opportunity in the safest supply chain environment with state-of-the-art equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, and anchors
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks
• Enter orders into a WMS system
• Load and unload trucks
• Handle day-to-day paperwork including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Support the automated packing system during peak production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Punctuality and good attendance record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to work flexible schedules

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred

Pay

$17.39 per hour

Schedule

First Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
