About the role

A Warehouse Specialist is an entry level position responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products under direct supervision of team leads and supervisors. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, or any other warehouse related assignments.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, and storage of products
• Performing manual or automated tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma, certificate of completion, or GED required
• Some college preferred
• Previous experience in supply chain operations preferred
• Health care experience preferred

Skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds
• Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills when working with a variety of people and situations
• Ability to prioritize assignments independently and participate in everyday problem solving
• Strong quality orientation and attention to detail
• Material handling equipment experience preferred
• Good written communication skills
• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse environment preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
