Warehouse Specialist

Position Summary

Vali Inc has an opportunity for Warehouse Specialist working on the APS-3 project located in Goose Creek, South Carolina. The successful candidate performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.

Responsibilities

- Verifying materials against receiving documents, noting, and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages. - Routing materials to prescribed storage locations. - Storing, stacking, or placing materials on pallets, in accordance with prescribed storage methods. - Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials. - Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage. - Removing material from storage, and preparing it for shipment. - Operating hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.

Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent. - 2 years' related work experience. - Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License. - U.S. Citizen. - Currently have or able to obtain a security clearance. - Must be able to obtain and maintain local base access. - Working knowledge in staging and placing materials on a pallet for loading into containers. - Must be able to identify items required per load, inventory, and account for required quantities and take appropriate action to prepare items for loading. - Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position. - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
