Warehouse Specialist

About the role

Join Plumbers Supply Co, a family-owned business with over 103 years of service, as a warehouse associate at our Bluegrass Parkway branch in Louisville.

Responsibilities

- Accurately pick products using an RF Scanner, ensuring order accuracy. - Read customer orders and retrieve items from warehouse racks using barcodes and serial numbers. - Update inventory in ERP system after each item is picked. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for all stakeholders. - Operate heavy equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.

Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. - Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience. - Customer service focus with strong communication skills. - Dependable attendance and reliability. - Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. - Motivated to learn and grow within the role. - Stamina to stand and walk throughout the shift. - Computer proficiency. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more with or without accommodation. - Physical ability to perform various warehouse tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, etc. - Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
