Warehouse Specialist

About the Role

Partners with operations to anticipate, assess, and meet inventory needs. Performs a variety of tasks related to inventory management, purchasing, receiving, and distribution within the warehouse and field locations.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
• Validates delivered items against purchase orders.
• Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
• Processes and/or approves invoices for payment.
• Assists the accounting team with reconciling purchase orders and satisfying audit needs.
• Processes and documents returns following established procedures.
• Performs quarterly inventory counts on materials, equipment, and hardware supplies in stock.
• Reports discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
• Assists with developing and improving inventory management procedures.
• Stocks and distributes supplies, equipment, and merchandise.
• Manages equipment cores for return to the appropriate supplier for credits.
• Acts as a parts runner within the Midland/Odessa area for the manufacturing facility.
• Transports parts to field locations in the Permian Basin as needed from the manufacturing location.
• Assists in receiving parts as needed.
• Supports the yard supervisor with tasks as required.
• Maintains designated supplies.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
