Warehouse Specialist

Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of orders.
- Inspect goods for quality, damage, and compliance with specifications.
- Document and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Properly store goods in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Ensure that inventory is organized, labeled, and accessible.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Regularly update and maintain inventory records using inventory management software (NetSuite).
- Conduct cycle counts and periodic stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including picking and packing products.
- Ensure that orders are accurately filled and packaged.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and schedule pickups.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet established standards.
- Handle returns and process them under company policies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all team members follow safety guidelines.
- Comply with regulatory and company-specific standards.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff and management to optimize operations.
- Communicate any issues, delays, or concerns promptly.
- Drive company vehicle and/or pull a trailer to various vendor locations/customer sites for deliveries/pickups as needed.
Requirements
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle background check.
- Forklift work experience and skills required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Knowledge of inventory software and basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
