Warehouse Specialist

As a Warehouse Specialist, you’ll help restaurants, bars, hospitals, hotels, and other businesses get the ice they need efficiently. Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse
• Receive and unload equipment and parts, unpack and shelve
• Pack, wrap, label, and/or ship parts and equipment
• Pick up parts/equipment from local suppliers
• Safely operate forklifts, delivery trucks, and lifting equipment
• Assist with refurbishing ice machines
• Perform data entry and inventory of all stock
• Ensure the warehouse runs smoothly and inventory is correctly placed
• Contribute to team effort by performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Six months of previous warehouse experience (preferred)
• Forklift certification (preferred)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Unrestricted right to work in the United States
• Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and multi-line phone systems
• Self-motivated and disciplined, able to work independently and as a team member
• Desire to learn about warehouse operations and basic ice machine maintenance
• Clear and professional communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Good planning and time management skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Willingness to assume a variety of tasks
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, use ladders, and handle materials for extended periods
• Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift greater weights
• Ability to work in conditions that may include extreme temperatures
