Warehouse - Shipping Clerk

About the role

National Vision is one of the largest optical retailers in the United States. We help people by making quality eye care and eyewear more affordable and accessible. We're looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Process daily replenishments and customer orders using an RF scanner or manually
• Place picked orders in bags or boxes depending on size, scan items to take them out of inventory, and move orders to the delivery area so they can be sorted by store and shipped
• Receive orders into inventory by using an RF scanner or manually; print purchase order then unpack received boxes; after items are unpacked, verify counts to PO and packing slip and move items into primary locations or overstock areas
• Organize the cross docking of shipments ensuring they are sorted correctly and properly taken in and out of the inventory system
• Process and move products out of overstock area into the primary stock area while ensuring the inventory movement is made in the system
• Fill boxes with items requested by the store; pack, crate, and ship products and supplies to retail locations
• Process returns by presorting items, scanning them back into inventory and crediting the store inventory, relabeling products, verifying all SKUs are correct and putting the items back into primary stock
• Maintain quality service by following organizational standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Math abilities
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel)
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Previous experience with a RF Scanner, Cherry Picker, and Pallet Truck are preferred
• Organized and detail oriented even in a fast pace environment
• Able to work independently within a set of guidelines
• Dependable, with strong work ethic, and personal integrity
• Continual walking and standing, bending, kneeling, twisting at the waist
• Ability to lift 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50lbs
• Availability to work Saturdays

Pay

$15.50/hr

Schedule

Monday – Friday – 9:30am-6:00pm
