Warehouse Shipper

About the Role

Our warehouse is climate controlled, clean, filled with bright lights, and our products are lightweight. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, collaborative, and enjoys a fun work environment. A strong computer background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, seal, and label customer orders for shipping.
• Learn and use ShipExec, FedEx, and UPS shipping software with no errors.
• Verify shipping method for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
• Contact carrier representatives to arrange shipping and delivery instructions.
• Communicate delays or issues for outbound shipments with the respective sales team member.
• Identify problems such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications; attempt to resolve issues independently before escalating to a team leader.
• Assist with monthly and annual cycle counts, requiring a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Create shipping documents per government regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts by updating labels and verifying on-hand counts.
• Respond quickly to urgent shipping requests.
