What You’ll Be Doing
As a Shipping and Receiving clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. The Shipping and Receiving clerk will have a direct impact on our Logistics group, responsible for:
- Preparing, packaging, and labeling items for shipment while ensuring proper documentation, such as shipping labels, packing lists, and invoices.
- Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, or discrepancies and promptly reporting any issues.
- Updating inventory systems to reflect received and shipped items, maintaining accurate stock records.
- Coordinating and prioritizing shipping schedules to meet customer and production needs.
- Working closely with internal teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintaining detailed records of all shipping and receiving activities and preparing reports as required.
- Following all company policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred but not required.
- Manufacturing experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and shipping software.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, shipping instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Employee must be able to lift to 35 pounds regularly.
- Capability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
