Warehouse Shift Lead

About the role

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking a full-time, permanent Warehouse Shift Lead to join their Warehouse Cleaning/Janitorial crew. This position offers a competitive starting pay of $17.00 per hour and flexible work schedules, including days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in a complex task-oriented janitorial operation environment.
• Provide direct support to the Maintenance Operations Center Team and KBS Field Operations Team by responding efficiently, timely, and accurately to all escalations.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, breakrooms, and other working areas as needed.
• Follow Janitorial Supervisor Task Process Flowchart.
• Support the KBS Management Team by delivering feedback on ongoing activities and committing to timely escalation reporting procedures.
• Deliver feedback on ongoing activities committing to timely escalation reporting procedures to the KBS Management Team.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Operations Center Team and KBS Field Operations Team to ensure efficient and effective janitorial operations.

Requirements

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment strongly preferred.
• 1+ years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
• Able to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions.
• Customer Service-oriented, friendly, and positive demeanor to motivate team members and support customer requests in an orderly and timely manner.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required).

Qualifications

• Familiarity with supporting callouts by directly working or splitting up shifts amongst the team and shift lead by successfully covering operations daily schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required).

• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety guidelines.
• Proficiency in using KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software.

Schedule

Shifts available Sunday to Wednesday, 5am-4pm and 7am-6pm.

Pay

$17.00 per hour.
