Warehouse Shift Lead

About the role

The Warehouse Shift Lead plays a crucial role in the Operations team at Buffalo Rock Company, supporting warehouse operations and fulfilling business and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide general services to the Operations Management.
• Aid in verifying paperwork for all receipts and load outs, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Handle and rework damaged product.
• Coordinate and maintain general housekeeping functions within the warehouse, offices, and grounds.
• Generate documents used in the loading process as needed.
• Maintain trailers in a manner consistent with dispatch times.
• Train warehouse loaders on processes as needed.
• Ensure proper date rotation of all products.
• Monitor battery charging/cycling and take daily inventory counts.
• Run handheld devices and assist in moving vehicles in/out of the warehouse.
• Assist warehouse loaders as requested.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear all assigned safety equipment.
• Work varying shifts, weekends, and additional hours as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Forklift Certification by Buffalo Rock Company.
• Valid Driver License, good driving record.
