Warehouse Selector (Night Shift)

Responsibilities

• Accurately, consistently and safely follow directions involving selecting product from a pick ticket in a refrigerated/frozen warehouse environment.
• Operate forklift, electric pallet jack, and any additional equipment as needed.
• Accurately identify and select cases of product from inventory locations.
• Pick, palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO (First In First Out).
• Hand stack product in a specific sequence and location on a pallet for shipment.
• Maintain integrity of products through proper handling and storage.
• Return undelivered or mis‑picked product to their proper inventory locations.
• Transport product from storage area to designated shipping area within expected time.
• Follow all safety rules and seek to maintain a safe working environment; observe safe product handling techniques.
• Cooperate with supervisors and peers alike.
• Follow company's attendance policy by arriving on time and completing shift based on business demands.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on MHE.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties as directed by the warehouse supervisor.
• Various other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English sufficiently to perform tasks such as reading labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, communicating with management & co‑workers, understanding oral & written instructions, and accurately completing shipping papers, reports, and records.
• Experience in a warehouse environment as a selector operating powered equipment, including electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and assorted MHE.
• Familiarity with CK31 & CK71 scanners a plus.
• MHE and SQF certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a refrigerated and frozen environment with temperatures ranging from 0 °F to 36 °F.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, walk throughout the shift; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting, pushing, and pulling inventory; regular lifting of up to 20–100 pounds.

Schedule

Sunday through Thursday, 5 PM to finish, with availability for extended hours, extra shifts, and holidays.
