Job Summary

This position serves our customers by hand-building pallets of product and loading product onto trailers according to established company and customer standards. Pay Rate: $22.93 training pay, $23.71 meet productivity, up to $29.96 with incentives. Production incentives for meeting metrics. The ability for you to be flexible with your schedule is preferred.

Day Shift (4 Day scheduled): Start time is 7AM, 2 days off during the week plus Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and utilize all company warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) to select, pull, sort, and stack product, weighing an average of 45 lbs, within the warehouse and dock safely, according to company standards.
  • Work in a freezer and dry warehouse environment (freezer coats, hats, and gloves provided).
  • Handles products and build pallets according to established food safety procedures (e.g. visual inspection of the product for damages, proper placement on pallets to minimize cross-contamination and damage).
  • Ensures that the warehouse is maintained cleanly and safely according to company standards; takes appropriate corrective actions when a spill or damaged case is discovered; disposes of trash and recycling in proper receptacles.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree.
  • Experience: 6 months of previous warehouse experience preferred; or equivalent physical work experience in place of a degree.
  • Professional Skills: Knowledge of: safe lifting procedures, and food safety guidelines. Skill in: building pallets of products quickly, accurately and safely. Ability to: operate forklift and/or pallet jack and maneuver in tight areas. Meet the minimum productivity levels established by the company.
