Warehouse Security Officer

About the role

Security Officer/Guard positions are available on a full-time and part-time basis. This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site
• Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Actively monitor premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area
• Provide customer service and information to client's employees and customers

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Security experience preferred but not required — retail, food service, or hospitality background is a great fit
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards

Physical requirements

• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time
• May involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Pay

$15.90/hour. Weekly pay.
