Warehouse Security Officer

Wage: $16.00/hour. Schedule to include weekend hours and third shift.

Requirements

• Valid Michigan Driver’s License
• Driver certification required
• Customer service excellence
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Comfortable with computers and technology
• Comfortable with long patrols to include stairs
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Must meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Prior security or customer service experience a plus. No experience necessary—training provided for candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality industry background.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, including climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain
• Lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Actively monitor premises, including patrolling a variety of locations
• Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area
• Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and customers
