Warehouse Security Officer
About the role
GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. The ideal candidate should have strong observation skills, attention to detail, and experience in monitoring security systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- Ace and pass an extensive screening process
- Show strong report writing skills
- Show sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
- Show strong proficiency with technology
- If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
- Have a valid security license for Maryland
- Have prior security or logistics experience
- Reside within a 30-40 minute radius
- Able to report to work in inclement weather
- Able to holdover when needed
- Flexibility is a plus

Schedule
Options include:
- 2nd shift: Days Vary, 4:00pm-12:00am, 32 -40 hours per week
- 3rd Shift: Friday through Monday, 10:00pm - 6:00am, 32 hours per week
- Split shift: 8:00am-4:00pm/4:00pm-12:00am - Days Vary, 32 hours per week
- 2nd and 3rd shift: Flexible Schedule, On-Call officer 8 to 16 hours per week
Skills
Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience, and prior security or logistics experience are beneficial.
