Warehouse Sanitation

About the role

The Sanitation, Warehouse ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace. The Sanitation, Warehouse performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation‑related job tasks in a warehouse facility, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Report all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure the safety of all associates.
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
• Handle all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Complete all assigned Pure Safety training modules in a timely and accurate manner.
• Operate a pallet jack, when required, to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Complete all assignments promptly and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
