About the role

Performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in warehouse facility areas including dry, cooler, and freezer zones. May also clean office areas as assigned. Duties may include operating a pallet jack to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.

• Sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pickup, and compactor use
• Working with cleaning chemicals
• Following all safety rules and completing duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines
• Reports any unsafe conditions or acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates
• Is certified to operate all required equipment
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned (dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks)
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets
• Completes all assigned Pure Safety training modules timely and accurately
• Completes all assignments timely and accurately
• Complies with all policies and standards
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• 0–6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience
• Pallet jack experience
