The Warehouse Runner plays a key role in supporting concession operations by stocking stands, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring products are readily available during events. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance in accordance with company policy.

Located in the heart of Bismarck, the Bismarck Event Center is the region’s premier destination for live entertainment, conventions, meetings, sporting events, and community gatherings. As the largest event and conference facility in western North Dakota, the venue hosts a diverse range of events each year, including concerts, trade shows, banquets, conferences, family shows, and special events. Responsibilities

  • Help set up and stock all concession stands and portable locations.
  • Maintain attention to detail, including company standards of inventory control, sanitation, presentation, and quality.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all concession stands by removing all trash and recyclables.
  • Rotate food products during the stocking process to ensure the freshest products are being served to guests.
  • Maintain the upkeep of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, organizing storage areas, and cleaning commissary dishes.
  • Keep all storage areas and inventory in neat, organized, and sanitary condition as directed.
  • Deliver items according to requisitions and place inventory in a proper fashion using the FIFO method of rotation (First-In-First-Out).
  • Maintain the overall security of all storage areas by ensuring that all areas are properly locked and protected.
  • Assist with monthly inventory as directed.
  • Make note of any inventory that is needed to complete upcoming events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of foodservice/hospitality warehouse experience; similar venue experience a plus.
  • Food service certification.
  • Flexible work schedule; must be able to work weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects frequently.

Pay

This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00 - $17.00.
