Warehouse Returns Associate - Night Shift (Temp to perm)

About the role

The Warehouse Returns Associate on the Night Shift plays a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive the quality and service they expect. You will be responsible for unpacking and inspecting returned merchandise, receiving merchandise using computer systems, processing and distributing merchandise efficiently, reviewing items to determine next action, maintaining inventory control, fulfilling new customer orders, communicating processing or vendor issues to your Manager, collaborating with fellow associates on shared assignments, and flexing to other job assignments as directed.

Responsibilities

• Stay focused and on task in a fast-paced environment
• Unpack and inspect returned merchandise
• Receive merchandise using computer systems
• Process and distribute merchandise efficiently
• Review items to determine next action
• Maintain inventory control based on guidelines
• Fulfill new customer orders
• Communicate processing or vendor issues to your Manager
• Collaborate with fellow associates on shared assignments
• Flex to other job assignments as directed

Requirements

• Ability to perform multiple functions across the site
• High attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work overtime if needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk for the entire shift
• Push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout the day
• Use carts, dollies, and other equipment to move items
• Lift up to 49 lbs. and push utility carts up to 60 lbs.
