Warehouse Receiving Part Time 1st Shift
About the role
Join our Staples World Class Supply Chain Team and deliver essential products to our customers. As an SC2 associate, you may be moved into any of the following roles as needed.
Responsibilities
Warehouse Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator: Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to pick product up to 100 lbs and move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.
Warehouse Porter: Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties both inside and outside of the facility while adhering to safety procedures. Operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.
Warehouse Replenishment: Operate material handling equipment to pick product up to 100 lbs and move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.
Warehouse Receiving/Putaway/Returns: Confirm accuracy of product, work with colleagues to address discrepancies and damages, communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external contacts, and manually unload trucks and palletize products. Operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.
Warehouse Returns: Operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse, match item quantities and descriptions to packing slips on returned items, check in returned product, and tag it appropriately. Operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.
Shipping: Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets, load trucks manually, lift, lower, and carry product in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a safe and clean workspace. Operate material handling equipment to move product within the warehouse while adhering to safety procedures.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience. Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally. Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience. Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker helpful.

Physical Demands: Must be able to walk and stand 100% of the time. Must be at least 18 years old.
