Warehouse Receiving Full Time 1st Shift

About the Role

Join our Staples World Class Supply Chain Team and deliver essential products to our customers. As a warehouse associate, you may work in one of six areas: Warehouse Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator, Warehouse Porter, Warehouse Replenishment, Warehouse Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Warehouse Returns, or Shipping. Please note, as an SC2 associate, you may be moved into any of these roles, or SC1 roles, as needed. Responsibilities

• Warehouse Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator: Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, electric pallet jacks) to pick and move products up to 100 lbs, adhering to safety procedures.
• Warehouse Porter: Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside the facility, operate material handling equipment, and adhere to safety procedures.
• Warehouse Replenishment: Operate material handling equipment to pick and move products up to 100 lbs, adhering to safety procedures.
• Warehouse Receiving/Putaway/Returns: Confirm product accuracy, address discrepancies and damages, unload trucks, palletize products, and operate material handling equipment.
• Warehouse Returns: Operate material handling equipment, match item quantities and descriptions to packing slips, check in returned products, and tag them appropriately.
• Shipping: Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets, load trucks manually, and maintain a safe and clean workspace.

Requirements

• Ability to be Material Handling Equipment Operator certified and safely operate necessary equipment.
• Willingness to keep work area clean.

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen (where legally permissible).
  • Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift (mandatory overtime for Full-Time associates).
  • Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull boxes/merchandise weighing 70-100 pounds.
  • Must wear safety composite shoes.
  • Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker).

Pay

Competitive Pay Rate: $20.75/hour

4:00am-12:00pm, Monday-Friday, with Mandatory Overtime
