Warehouse Receiving Associate

About the role

LockNet is seeking a detail-oriented, dependable Warehouse Receiving Associate to play a key role in keeping our inventory accurate and our warehouse running smoothly. You'll receive, inspect, stock, and organize inbound material for our commercial door and service operations. We provide forklift certification and in-house training on our products and procedures to set you up for success. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock inbound material quickly and accurately
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and cycle count records
• Properly organize shelf and bin locations to maximize space utilization
• Label products accurately to support inventory control
• Coordinate closely with the Returned Goods and Shipping departments
• Assist with all activities involving material and inventory control
• Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in a similar warehouse or materials handling role
• Forklift experience preferred but not required—we will certify the right candidate
• Ability to read and use measuring tools
• General computer skills preferred, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills

Physical demands

This role is physically demanding. You should be comfortable with the following on a regular basis:

• Standing, walking, and reaching for extended periods
• Lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds, including overhead
• Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, and controls
• Operating a forklift for movement of heavy and oblong inventory
• Use of close and distance vision with ability to adjust focus
