With an ambitious vision to lead the multi-billion-dollar tile category, we are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team.
About the role
As a Receiving Associate, you will play a vital part in our growth trajectory by ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of incoming shipments, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods, checking for damage or discrepancies, and verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with stock quantities, orders, or delivery.
- Unload, unpack, and organize incoming merchandise in designated storage areas.
- Update inventory records to reflect receipt and location of new merchandise.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain inventory levels and fulfill orders accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of packaging materials.
- Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and shipping companies to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve shipment issues.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks such as picking and packing orders, conducting inventory counts, and preparing merchandise for shipment.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of warehouse organization procedures.
- Able to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends as needed.
- Previous experience with receiving functions, including RF scanning, preferred.
- Attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Accurate documentation and reporting skills.
- WMS experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, and squatting for most of the shift.
- Repetitive motions including pushing and pulling with hands.
- Frequently carrying up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Seldom sitting or crawling.
Schedule
3rd shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:30 PM–7:00 AM.
