About the role
Oversee the receiving dock area to receive, inspect, identify, count, and verify the quality and labeling of all materials and supplies delivered to the facility. Complete related documentation, coordinate storage, and enter information into the inventory database. Ensure all safety regulations and quality standards are met while maintaining an efficient flow of product through the production process.

- Monday–Friday, 1st shift
- Start time: 10:00 AM
- Shifts end when daily work is completed; end times may vary based on volume
Pay
- Starting pay: $19.00/hour

Responsibilities
- Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.
- Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions or acts immediately.
- Review work schedule, perform safety checks on equipment, obtain supplies, and prepare for operations.
- Wear all required Personal Prote Equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
- Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
- Open loading dock doors, set dock plate in place, and prepare the area to receive products and supplies.
- Inspect incoming trailers to ensure they meet company quality standards and take appropriate action as needed.
- Receive incoming products and supplies; verify items on the receiving schedule against the bill of lading.
- Ensure count accuracy, record counts on appropriate forms/database, and verify quality and labeling of all materials.
- Perform damage control checks on received items and contact supervisor about removing items per company policy.
- Inspect date-sensitive items, perform temperature and quality checks, and take appropriate action as needed.
- Identify, label, and store supplies according to specifications and enter purchase order data into the inventory system.
- Coordinate and/or unload and transport items to staging areas using a forklift or pallet jack.
- Assist forklift operators by putting away, breaking down pallets, changing stretch wrap, and re-wrapping pallets as needed.
- Perform general housekeeping duties; keep warehouse area, loading dock, and trailers clear and clean.
- Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, and complete vehicle inspection checklists.
- At the end of the shift, secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- 6–12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
- Ability to work scheduled, assigned times and required overtime
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
- Able to lift and stack product between 10–35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry)
- Must pass pre-employment drug test
