Warehouse Quality Coordinator

Ryder is hiring a permanent full‑time Quality Coordinator at our warehouse manufacturing facility in Wilmer, Texas.

Pay

Weekly hourly rate: $17.25 per hour plus an additional $0.25 per hour.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as they relate to specifications.
• Inspect product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants (e.g., stones, wood, glass, plastic) prior to packaging in accordance with specifications.
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications.
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with an emphasis on safety.
• Maintain quality to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality meets customer, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Previous experience in a food‑grade facility.
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, or similar regulatory standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional screening may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or background requirements of the assigned customer.
