About the Role

Processes outgoing gasket and bolt shipments, including pulling and packing orders. Operates forklift, saw, and gasket-making equipment. Handles incoming stock and ensures proper storage. Maintains shop cleanliness and performs additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Branch Manager.

Responsibilities

• Packs and ships gaskets as requested by customers.
• Pulls and packs orders for outgoing shipments.
• Processes inbound transfers, UPS, FedEx, or any incoming freight for receipt.
• Puts stock in designated locations/shelving and maintains daily inventory.
• Performs daily jobs for gaskets and stud bolts as required by clients.
• Assembles boxes for shipments and monitors staged boxes due but not shipped.
• Loads all trucks with outgoing freight.
• Keeps the Will Call area organized and current.
• Cross-trains on all warehouse operations.
• Monitors propane tanks and coordinates with supervisors to refill as needed.
• Picks items from locations listed on pick tickets, verifying length, diameter, and material before packaging.
• Palletizes orders with more than five boxes.
• Advises sales of any online item shortages.
• Marks each line item with box numbers and ensures correspondence with box markings.
• Maintains a neat and clean work environment, disposing of packing materials as you go.
• Performs other warehouse tasks as needed to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of warehouse and shipping experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions/documents.
• Basic computer capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push, and pull.
• Continuous standing and/or walking.
• Frequently works with weights of 10–50 lbs. and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently.
• Ability to work in an ever-changing environment, including cold, hot, dusty, or noisy conditions.
