Warehouse Production Associate

About the role

The Rock Island Auction Company (RIAC), the #1 firearms auction house in the world, is seeking a Warehouse Production Associate to handle rare and unusual firearms, military and historic collectibles.

Responsibilities

• Processes incoming inventory using a high level of care and attention to detail
• Completes forms and logs electronically, demonstrating high attention to detail
• Tags, organizes and moves inventory throughout production area
• Applies subject matter knowledge of firearms to support inventory evaluation and customer inquiries
• Works expected overtime and required auction weekends and assists with auction duties such as floor and display set-up, security, and customer service
• Affords assistance with pick up, transport, and/or delivery of auction items

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and apply ATF regulatory compliance and internal safety protocols
• Form 4473 experience highly preferred
• Intermediate proficiency with computers (including Microsoft Office) and office equipment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
• Valid driver’s license (non-CDL) required
• Routinely moving and transporting up to 50 pounds
• Traversing and moving for prolonged periods up to 100% of the time with frequent ascending, descending, or positioning self to maintain moving and transporting consignor items

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in firearms industry, or equivalent knowledge of firearms highly preferred
• Prior work experience with supply chain management, inventory, material handling, or other related fields are highly preferred

Dedicated hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST at our Rock Island, IL facility, with overtime and weekend hours, as needed.
