Warehouse Picker- Franchise

About the role

Buffalo Rock is seeking a Warehouse Picker to join our team. This position is responsible for inventory movement through the building of designated pallets and the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles. The primary focus is on picking all orders processed as assigned by Warehouse Management.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders as assigned by Warehouse Management
• Verify the accuracy of the order and sign the pick ticket
• Ensure product is leveled after picking at the end of each shift
• Build mixed pallets according to loading documentation to be placed on delivery vehicles
• Responsible for verification of date codes
• Ensure work area is kept clean and clear of debris
• Restock returned product
• Handle and stack pallets and trays
• Apply shrink wrap to completed pallets either by hand or by machine
• Wear all assigned safety equipment and observe safety rules
• Auxiliary tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• No prior experience necessary
• Forklift Certification by Buffalo Rock Company
• Basic knowledge of equipment/tools needed to fulfill essential tasks

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and climbing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, warm environment
