About the Role

Maxwood Furniture is a rapidly growing furniture company with an expanding portfolio of brands such as Max & Lily, Plank + Beam, and Maxtrix. We’re passionate about creating an inspiring and engaging shopping experience for our customers, bringing their home décor dreams to life with stunning, on-trend pieces. Our 500,000-square-foot newly renovated warehouse is located in Marion, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products based on customer orders using scanners and handheld devices.
• Verify picked items for quality, quantity, and damage before shipment.
• Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and walkie riders (where certified and applicable).
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
• Follow established warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, move, push, or pull products weighing up to 150 pounds with assistance and/or equipment when necessary.
• Frequently and repetitively lift products weighing 50 pounds or more throughout the workday.
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive physical movements for extended periods of time.
• Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting productivity and safety expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse, distribution center, or logistics experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
