We're looking for a motivated Warehouse Parts Specialist to join our Parts team and play a key role in keeping our inventory accurate, organized, and moving efficiently. Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, verify, and accurately process incoming shipments.
- Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or overages and resolve discrepancies.
- Process purchase order receipts and inventory transactions within SAP.
- Accurately pick, package, and ship customer and branch orders.
- Ensure outgoing shipments are properly packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Organize, label, and maintain warehouse inventory and storage locations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Perform inventory replenishment and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Distribute non-stock items to the appropriate departments.
- Process customer and vendor returns according to company procedures.
- Serve as an initial point of contact for customers and vendors at the parts counter.
- Cut and assemble chains, hoses, and cables as needed.
- Press tires and complete other light shop support tasks.
- Deliver parts to field technicians and customer locations as required.
- Assist with shipping equipment, maintaining shipping supplies, and operating shipping systems.
- Support additional warehouse and parts operations as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with inventory or ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
- Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, or other shipping systems is preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or parts experience preferred.
- Experience within the material handling, construction equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial equipment industries is a plus.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or parts experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand and walk throughout the workday.
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the shift.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
- Use computers and handheld devices for inventory transactions.
