Job Overview
The Warehouse Associate plays an essential role in supporting daily warehouse and distribution operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, preparing customer orders, supporting shipments, and ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, scan, and label orders accurately to ensure timely shipment
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments while inspecting products for damage
- Receive, stock, and organize inventory to maintain an efficient warehouse flow
- Perform cycle counts and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies
- Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and handheld scanners
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company safety standards
- Absorb and support shipments, process returns, and support warehouse activities as needed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals
- Support special projects and additional warehouse responsibilities based on business needs
- Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and inventory discrepancies promptly
Qualifications
- Ability to safely lift, push, and pull inventory weighing 50+ lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Basic computer skills; experience with Warehouse Management Systems is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible availability; schedules may vary between 3–6 hours or longer depending on business needs
