Warehouse Order Selector Evening Shift

Summary

The Fresh Thyme Distribution Center Selector is responsible for developing and understanding the picking process, pallet building, forklift and electric jack use, and warehouse safety procedures. Key responsibilities include picking cases and loading using RF and Voice, maintaining accuracy and efficiency, and collaborating with management.

Responsibilities

  • Picks the correct items and quantities, utilizing direction from Voice driven process.
  • Builds and shrink wraps a stable and well cubed pallet.
  • Loads trailers as assigned.
  • Checks and reports damage, shorts, miss slotted, or obvious quality issues.
  • Utilizes Warehouse Management Systems, RF, Voice directed pick.
  • Operates efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaborates with the management team to develop and implement plans for process development.
  • Follows and enhances SOP for labeling, stacking, and put away of inbound receipts.
  • Fixes unstable, uneven, pallets in pick and reserve slots.
  • Performs general housekeeping of warehouse, sweeping and removing debris in aisles.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience driving and Electric Powered Pallet Jack.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Grocery retail distribution or wholesale distribution experience.
  • Produce / Fresh Foods preferred.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, RF (Power Warehouse WMS preferred).
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for dealing cross-functionally with all.
  • Understanding of specific knowledge pertaining to Grocery, Produce, and encompassing departments beneficial.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Skills

  • Warehouse Management Systems, RF, (Power Warehouse WMS preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for dealing cross-functionally with all.
  • Understanding of specific knowledge pertaining to Grocery, Produce, and encompassing departments beneficial.

Pay

Our pay plan generally starts at $21.75 per hour and raises occur in accordance to the collective bargaining agreement.

Schedule

EVENING ORDER PICKER - $21.75 PER HOUR TO START SELECTION INCENTIVE BONUS MUST BE AVAIABLE BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
